Hello,

Throughout March I have been lucky to photograph in theatres, stadiums and arenas witnessing some incredible moments and achieving important milestones! So without further ado, here is what I have been up to.

As I mentioned in my previous blog (Feat. Football), in February I started working with and shooting for Pro Sport Images, covering football matches for editorial publication. I am very happy to say I have been published on a number of occasions both in national and European press (see Tear Sheets). On the 16th March I achieved an important milestone in getting published on the back page of national newspaper, in The Guardian no less! Below are my publications for the night.

Earlier in the month I was at Sadler’s Wells photographing the visiting Ballet BC of British Columbia, Canada. We were treated to the work, 16 + a room choreographed by artistic director, Emily Molnar. The work was highly physical and presented some great photographic opportunities. Below is a collage of some of my favourite shots, but for the full gallery click here.

I was really excited to return to the Echo Arena, Liverpool for a second year to photograph the Artistic Gymnastics British Championships. This year we saw two new gymnasts crowned the All-Around British Champions. Kelly Simm of Dynamo School Of Gymnastics took the Women’s title and Brinn Bevan of South Essex Gymnastics Club took the Men’s title. I have made a page dedicated to the #2018British which you can view by clicking the link here. But here are a couple of my favourite shots below.

Lastly, I headed to Brixton Academy to photograph Feeder live. This was the first time photographing a music photography, so it was quite an eye opener! With live music, photographers are allowed to photograph a small number of songs (3-6 tracks) at the start of the band’s set. With this limited time photographer’s have to quickly capture an gallery’s worth of images. It was my first time shooting concert photography, but I happy with the images I came away with, and also very happy to see Feeder themselves shared one of my images!
